Sense of Place Project/318

Create a compelling group of images that captures the character of a special place. What is the story you are telling about this place? Is is magical, moody, unusual, typical? How can you make images that convey these notions. The definition of "place" is fairly wide open. Think big and run with it.

Preliminary due date/progress critique: 2/15 (At least 2/3 of shooting should be completed)

Project completed and due: 2/24 (critique)

Shooting expectations:

• 35mm, 24 exp rolls: 8 rolls min.
• 35mm, 36 exp rolls: 6 rolls min.
• 120, 6 rolls min.
• 4x5, at least 20 successful sheets

Prints:

• 6 final, portfolio worthy prints
• 8x10, full frame (or close to it), or larger
• Prints should be flattened
